Jan Karkulik

  Jan Karkulik, youth exchange student from the Czech Republic is hosted by the Pasadena South Rotary club along with Deer Park Rotary club.  Jan has been with us since August of 2007.  His first host family was Red Draper and Cindi Wiggins.  Big THANKS to both of them for doing such a wonderful job for Jan and Rotary.  He had wonderful adventures while staying with Red and Cindi, which included a cruise to Mexico.  Jan's second host family was Rae and Keith Sinor of the Deer Park Rotary club.  Jan benefited greatly by staying with them as well, going on trips with the Sinor's to their ranch and snow skiing in Colorado.  Jan's final host family is Linda and John Nagel, where he is having a big time learning to fish.

  Jan was born in Trebic, Czech Republic April 15, 1990.  He is a senior at Deer Park High School.  Upon returning to his country Jan wants to attend University and study international business.  His family, Father, George; Mother, Mary; and sister, Jana are visiting the United States for their first time and enjoying their visit.
