Professional career spanning 30 years in the international shipping and port business primarily in Houston/Beaumont, Texas. His shipping career includes the U.S. company Lykes Lines, the Danish shipping company Nordana and the French company Delmas/Bollore Group as Vice President in charge of their North American sales effort.
Ernest currently serves as the Director of Trade Development for the Port of Beaumont and is responsible for their international sales efforts as well as real estate expansion and development activities.

Ken Legler is the State Representative-elect House district 144 which encompasses the Battleship of Texas to Pearland city limits. He is a Pasadena native and a conservative who shares our pro-life, pro-family, pro-business, small government political philosophy.
A third generation Texan, Ken is genuine Pasadena native son, who has chosen to live, work, and play in East Harris County. Ken was educated in the Pasadena public schools. Active in the business community, Ken is active as a board member in chamber and economic development organizations in the area and in state boards of chambers and business organizations.
